Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
稍微电影手法与拍摄技术有那么一点不尽如人意。剩下的无论是构思、恐怖还是血腥感，都是很棒的。磨坊电影就是这样的，我仿佛看到了罗伯特·罗德里格兹与昆汀·塔伦蒂诺的感觉。毕竟人家是A24出品，恐怖大厂，不好瞎说话！
恐怖的不是两个老家伙杀人，恐怖的是杀人之前年轻人的寻欢作乐和老人坟墓一般的生活来回切换！一样的背景音乐，两种强烈的情绪反差，快要有阴影了……
挺有意思的，导演比想象的认真，就是有点慢。接下来两部也都会跟着看的，下次就有机会去电影院支持了
惊吓指数:★★★★
无论如何，应当在Slasher中接受受害者的“傻逼”，这样观众才会享受加害者屠杀的快感。喜剧与恐惧交织才是独属于优秀Slasher电影的特质。Ti West则把霍珀的方法论完全搞反，只有局部比较诙谐幽默。
我最不喜欢的桥段就是车灯前的那段舞蹈，放在这里很突兀很违和。其他还行，挺有警示意义的。
我承认A24的视听语言确实牛逼，但是这部《X》几乎没有能让我高潮的戏码，可能过几年就会忘记这部几乎没有故事性的电影了。（2022.4.17豆瓣6.0分）
ps：老年人的性爱是真的恐怖！
就是说真的有必要把老年刻画得如此不堪吗？好奇老年观众观影感受。 才知道女主一人饰演老少，有点厉害。 惊悚部分有些地方能被吊着，当然也有落入俗套的地方。 当然了最大的感受还是为老年人鸣不平啊。。。老了真的没这么惨吧？
画面质感像80年代，剧情一般，血浆也不多，感觉欧美血浆片好多年没什么精品了
影片看完居然觉得有些悲凉，那个不甘失去青春年华美好肉体的变态枯槁老妇，和那些趁着青春肆意挥霍的几个年轻人。剧本设定有些程式化，不过也算得上是一部合格的B级血浆片，多一星给Mia冷冷的颜。
自从“不止是拍一部毛片，而是要拍一部电影”的RJ死了以后，本片也从一部“值得玩味的电影”滑落到普普通通的血浆虐杀片了，真想恶狠狠地收回所有在前半段给出的赞美阿~
好好笑啊，每个角色都特别有特色，女主角的魅力直到最后，通过和电视上的反差才表现出来。
除了navel-gazing有点儿严重之外（自指这一点Scream原版拿捏得最到位），整体都不错。
老年人的sex这种少有人关注的话题 全片最惊悚算是两老的🚢戏了 心酸又恐怖 btw 小河那段游泳戏看的心跳加速🐊
真正的恐怖片爱好者应该没法拒绝这种复古又有新意的迷影小品吧
79年，几个人跑去德州一农场拍A片，租了农场老头的一间大屋子。谁知道农场老头老太是两变态杀人狂魔。前半段是拍A片，摄影师带了女朋友一起来，女朋友原来是现场录音，后来看的不错说自己也要演，摄影师气的要死最后还是拍了。然后到了晚上就是大屠杀，一个个被干掉，最后只有摄影师女朋友杀了老头老太，然后逃了出来。
大尺度血腥画面:★★★
剪辑有点意思，女主一人分饰年轻演员和杀人狂老太两角也是有想法的。
本来就是B级恐怖片，把人整得邋遢恶臭奇丑无比倒也无妨，但咱就别搁这儿说是在探讨与关注老年人的性生活问题了，你家老年人看了怕不是气得连夜给导演送花圈。
